Skills Session Request

Use this form to request attendance at an upcoming Texas Rescue Med skills session. Submission of this form does not guarantee your seat. All eligibility requirements will be reviewed before your request is approved.

Please review the requirements below before submitting your request.

General Scheduling Information

  • EMT and EMR skills sessions are typically held on the 3rd weekend of each month.
  • AEMT students may complete skills over 3 weekends or during a 6-day intensive session.
  • AEMT 6-day intensive skills sessions are typically offered once per quarter.
  • Seats may be limited, and requests are reviewed based on eligibility and availability.

Eligibility Requirements

EMT (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

  • You must be past Chapter 30.
  • You must be paid in full with no outstanding balance.

EMR (Saturday & Sunday)

  • You must have completed all coursework.
  • You must be paid in full with no outstanding balance.

AEMT Weekend Skills

Session 1 (Saturday & Sunday)

  • You must be done with A&P.
  • You must have no more than 50% tuition outstanding.

Session 2 (Saturday & Sunday)

  • You must be complete through Chapter 25.
  • You must have no more than 75% tuition outstanding.

Session 3 (Saturday & Sunday)

  • You must have completed all coursework.
  • You must have no tuition outstanding.

AEMT 6-Day Intensive (Monday-Saturday)

  • You must have completed all coursework.
  • You must have no tuition outstanding.

Background Check, Drug Screen, and Document Requirements

EMT and AEMT students must complete both of the following before attending their scheduled skills session:
