OUR FIRE SERVICE TRAINING PARTNER

CTRTA provides fire service training, including firefighter academy pathways and professional development. Texas Rescue Med provides EMS education, including EMR, EMT, and AEMT programs.
TWO COMPLEMENTARY DISCIPLINES
Firefighters are routinely called upon to provide emergency medical care, respond to hazardous environments, work in coordinated teams, and make critical decisions under pressure.
Combining fire service preparation with appropriate EMS education can help students develop a broader foundation for firefighter-EMT positions and other public safety career opportunities. Each program maintains its own admissions, training, assessment, and credentialing requirements.
