Texas Rescue Med Refund Policy
At Texas Rescue Med, we are committed to providing transparent policies that protect both the student and the organization. Please review the following refund and cancellation policy carefully before enrolling in any course.
🔹 Hybrid Courses
- A $600 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your enrollment.
- Refunds before the course midterm may be issued on a prorated basis, less the nonrefundable deposit, calculated by the number of weeks completed, beginning on the Saturday following the first in-person session. Once a new week begins, it will count toward the refund calculation, regardless of attendance or participation.
- No refunds will be issued after the course midterm.
- Failure to formally withdraw may result in full financial responsibility for the course.
🔹 Online Courses
- A $600 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your enrollment.
- The remaining course tuition becomes nonrefundable once either of the following occurs:
- You complete Chapter 5 of the course, or
- 30 calendar days have passed since you started the course
- Refunds requested before Chapter 5 completion and within the 30-day window may be considered on a prorated basis, minus the deposit.
🔹 Card Courses (CPR, ACLS, PALS, etc.)
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class.
- Failure to cancel within 48 hours or failure to attend will result in the full course fee being charged, regardless of participation.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or late cancellations.
🔹 Class Cancellations by Texas Rescue Med
If Texas Rescue Med cancels a course, a 100% refund of all payments will be offered, unless an alternative solution is agreed upon (e.g., rescheduled date or modified format).
🔹 Non-Attendance or Incomplete Participation
Non-attendance, failure to access course materials, or inability to complete externships due to background check issues are not valid reasons for a refund. Students are expected to complete all course components to receive credit or certification.
🔹 Collections Policy
Students are responsible for any outstanding balances, including tuition remaining after a partial or prorated refund calculation.
- If a student withdraws without completing the proper Withdrawal Form or fails to fulfill the payment obligations for their course, their account may be referred to a collections agency.
- Students will be liable for any additional fees, interest, or legal costs incurred in the collections process.
- To avoid negative financial consequences, students are encouraged to communicate proactively with Texas Rescue Med to resolve any payment issues.
