Our online EMS Instructor Certification course, approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), is designed for EMS professionals wishing to become certified instructors. Spanning 40 hours of self-paced instruction, the course covers adult education principles, curriculum development, and teaching strategies specific to EMS. Participants will learn to evaluate student performance and navigate EMS education’s legal and ethical aspects. Upon completion, they receive a Texas DSHS-recognized EMS Instructor certification, allowing them to teach across Texas. The course targets current EMS personnel and healthcare educators looking to specialize in EMS training.
