Hybrid AEMT Cohort
Our Hybrid AEMT Cohort combines structured online coursework with scheduled, instructor-led practical training. Current duration: 18 weeks. It is designed for working EMTs who want a predictable training schedule while progressing toward Advanced EMT course completion and certification eligibility.
In-person labs meet on the published cohort calendar at the assigned training location. Students complete LMS coursework between lab meetings and arrange required clinical and field experiences after receiving the appropriate placement clearance. The confirmed dates, times, and location for each cohort control over general descriptions.
How Hybrid AEMT Works
Scheduled In-Person Labs
Confirmed dates and times are maintained in the Hybrid AEMT cohort schedule below.
Instructor review, IV and medication administration practice, airway management, patient assessment, and scenario-based evaluation.
Online Coursework
Structured LMS progression.
Complete Anatomy and Physiology, assignments, quizzes, examinations, and readiness benchmarks between scheduled lab sessions.
Clinical & Field Training
Hospital and ambulance rotations.
Meet the current approved minimums: 48 clinical hours, 48 ambulance field hours, and 25 documented patient contacts. The Program Director and clinical affiliates determine approved experiences and documentation.
Why Choose Hybrid AEMT?
Predictable Attendance
Fixed in-person lab dates make it easier to plan around EMS shifts, home responsibilities, and clinical rotations.
Hands-On Skills Practice
Regular guided practice and instructor feedback support progression in advanced patient-care skills.
Pathway to Paramedic
Build clinical skills and a stronger foundation for future paramedic education and responsibility.
Structured Online AEMT
Our Structured Online AEMT pathway uses monthly enrollment intakes. The approved completion period is Up to 12 months from course activation, subject to the program agreement and approved extensions. Students must complete coursework, Anatomy and Physiology, assessments, clinical requirements, and final competency and graduation requirements. Students may work ahead when eligible while meeting posted assignments and progression deadlines.
The enrollment deadline and planned start date for the next intake are displayed below from Central Hub. Applications completed after the published cutoff are considered for the next eligible intake. Online AEMT students must also attend the required scheduled in-person AEMT skills intensive; these sessions are not offered on demand, and enrollment alone does not reserve a skills seat.
Monthly Enrollment & Required Skills
Monthly online enrollment follows the Central Hub cutoff, currently recorded as day 15 of the month. Actual enrollment deadlines and start dates are displayed below. Course access begins only after enrollment clearance and LMS activation. The displayed calendar does not automatically assign a student to an intake. Required in-person skills intensives take place only on the confirmed dates shown below. Skills dates must be selected from the published intensives below. Review both the monthly intake dates and available intensive dates before enrolling.
Enrollment deadline: November 15, 2026
Planned course start: November 1, 2026
Course access and intake placement are confirmed after enrollment clearance. Published intensive dates are a separate requirement.
Structured Online AEMT Format
Flexible, Not Self-Directed
Begin with an approved monthly intake, then complete online lessons, quizzes, exams, and instructor-directed progression milestones at a manageable pace.
Anatomy & Physiology
Included A&P learning supports advanced assessment, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and preparation for higher levels of EMS practice.
Scheduled Skills Intensive
Attend the required approved in-person AEMT skills intensive on a published session date. Skills training and clinical eligibility requirements must be met before final clearance.

Options may include customized cohort calendars, blended instruction, agency-based training, and coordinated skills and clinical requirements.
