Students have six months to complete all course requirements, which include comprehensive online coursework, a three-day weekend skills session at the end of the class, and a 36-hour clinical externship on an ambulance, during which each student must obtain a minimum of 10 patient contacts.

Our Hybrid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course blends the flexibility of online learning with the structure of in-person instruction, providing an ideal balance for students who benefit from a guided educational environment. Over 8 weeks, students complete their didactic lessons online while attending weekly in-person knowledge reviews and skill sessions that reinforce classroom concepts through hands-on application.

This structured approach allows for consistent feedback and skill development under the supervision of experienced EMS instructors. Upon completion of the classroom and lab portions, students finish the program with 36 hours of clinical externship on an ambulance, obtaining at least 10 patient contacts.

EMR

Our 80-hour Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Program meets all Texas DSHS and NREMT requirements while covering essential emergency care skills. It is designed for fire departments, schools, and public safety professionals and provides a strong foundation in prehospital care. Graduates can seamlessly transition into our EMT program at a discounted rate through our exclusive EMR-to-EMT pathway.

EMT

Our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program includes at least 150 hours of training that meets all Texas DSHS and NREMT requirements. Students learn critical skills like airway management, trauma assessment, CPR, and emergency childbirth through hands-on practice and real-world scenarios. It’s the perfect next step for anyone ready to advance their EMS career.

Advanced EMT

Our Advanced EMT (AEMT) Program provides at least 240 hours of advanced training that meets all Texas DSHS and NREMT requirements. Building on EMT fundamentals, students learn skills like IV therapy, medication administration, and advanced airway management. It’s ideal for EMS professionals ready to expand their scope of practice through classroom, hands-on, and clinical experience.
