Our online Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course provides the essential knowledge and skills to serve as the critical first point of contact in an emergency. Students have three months to complete all course requirements, which include online coursework and a mandatory two-day, in-person skills session required for successful completion.

Our Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course provides the essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to serve as the critical first point of contact during medical emergencies. Designed for flexibility and accessibility, this program combines live online instruction with regional in-person skills verification, enabling students to complete training without extensive travel.

Students participate in scheduled evening VILT sessions led by experienced EMS educators while completing supplemental coursework online. Hands-on psychomotor skills are completed during a mandatory in-person skills session at one of our regional training locations throughout Texas.

Throughout the program, students will learn how to assess, manage, and stabilize patients in prehospital environments through interactive lectures, case-based discussions, and practical exercises. Ideal for volunteer firefighters, public safety personnel, industrial response teams, and individuals beginning a career in emergency services, this course provides the foundational training needed to make a meaningful impact in emergency response within your community.

Flexible evening schedule

Attend live online evening classes designed to fit around work, family, and volunteer commitments. Our VILT format allows students to receive real-time instruction from experienced EMS educators without relocating or traveling weekly.
